Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 27, 2026

Your life belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains what Perseno collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. See also our Terms of Service.

1Information We Collect

Account information — Your email address and name (if provided during sign-up or Google sign-in). A phone number may be collected in the future when SMS is available.

Uploaded content — Screenshots, images, and files you drop into Perseno.

Derived information — Radar items, categories, priorities, due dates, draft replies, and other information Perseno extracts from your uploads.

Calendar information — Deadlines and appointments you track in the native Perseno Calendar, plus events from calendar files you import. Imports are a one-time snapshot, not a live sync.

Preferences — Notification settings, reminder style, categories you track, and forget patterns.

Household information — Household membership and items you choose to share. Membership does not expose your private account information to other members.

Scheduling and availability — When you use "Schedule with others," Perseno stores participant emails and anonymized busy/free time blocks for that request. Event titles, locations, and details are never stored as part of a scheduling request. When you ask about your availability (directly or through a connected AI assistant), Perseno reads your calendar and Radar to find open windows but stores only the question you asked; it does not store a copy of your full schedule.

Search and interaction history — Availability questions you ask, and feedback you submit.

Usage information — Device type, browser, and how you interact with Perseno.

Billing information — Subscription plan and status. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Perseno.

2How We Use Information

Perseno uses your information to:

  • Process your uploads and generate Radar items
  • Send reminders and notifications you request
  • Provide the Perseno Calendar and Family features
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Improve the service and fix issues

3AI-Assisted Processing

When you upload content, Perseno uses automated, AI-assisted systems to analyze it and suggest items, categories, priorities, and draft replies. To provide these features, your uploaded content — including images and text — may be processed through third-party AI infrastructure used by Perseno's platform provider. Perseno does not control how long those providers retain data or whether they use it for model training; if you need those details before using a feature, contact Perseno. These systems may make mistakes or miss important information. You review and confirm what becomes a Radar item. Perseno does not claim that AI-generated results are always accurate, that your data never leaves Perseno, or that AI never sees your information.

4SMS Functionality and Privacy (Coming Soon)

Text message (SMS) functionality is not currently available. The terms below describe how SMS will work when it is activated in the future.

If you enable SMS, you provide a mobile phone number. Perseno uses this number to:

  • Send requested reminders
  • Send service notifications
  • Respond to messages you send to Perseno
  • Provide the Perseno Agent functionality
  • Send other communications you have consented to receive

Message frequency varies. Perseno does not guarantee a fixed number of messages per day or week.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge standard message and data rates for SMS communications.

Opt out: Reply STOP to any SMS message from Perseno to stop receiving SMS communications. You can also turn off SMS in Settings.

Help: Reply HELP to any SMS message for assistance.

Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchasing any Perseno subscription.

5Mobile Phone Number Privacy

When SMS is available, mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Twilio, our SMS service provider, may process your phone number as a service provider on behalf of Perseno to deliver SMS messages. Twilio is not permitted to use your phone number for its own unrelated marketing.

6Perseno Household

Perseno Household allows members of a household to share a single subscription — one person pays and covers the members they invite. Each member's account remains private. Joining a Household does not automatically make your information visible to other members.

Private by default — Your screenshots, documents, Radar items, calendar events, Life Search, and reminders remain accessible only to you unless you intentionally share them. Screenshots are never shared with household members automatically; only information you explicitly choose to share becomes available to the household.

Shared information — Items you choose to share may be visible to authorized household members. You control what is shared at any time.

Member invitations — The household owner invites members by email. A member must sign in or create an account with the invited email to join. The owner manages the subscription and can remove members.

7Scheduling with Others

Perseno's "Schedule with others" feature helps you find a time that works for multiple people. When you create a scheduling request, Perseno generates a link you can share.

What each person shares — When a participant opens the link and authorizes, Perseno checks their Perseno calendar and Radar to determine when they are busy, then stores only anonymized busy/free time blocks (start and end times) for that request. Event titles, locations, descriptions, attendees, and all other calendar details are never shared or stored as part of a scheduling request.

Who sees what — Each participant's busy blocks are visible only to Perseno's processing for the purpose of computing overlapping free windows. Other participants do not see each other's busy blocks. The organizer sees only the resulting free windows, not individual calendars.

External participants — A participant who does not have a Perseno account, or who has not imported their calendar, cannot share availability automatically. Perseno will not fabricate their schedule; it will indicate that their availability is not yet known.

Revocation — Any participant can withdraw their authorization at any time from the scheduling link. When they do, Perseno discards their busy blocks for that request and they are no longer included in the overlap.

Link expiration — Scheduling links expire after 14 days. The organizer can cancel a request at any time, which removes the link.

Confirmed times — When the organizer picks a time, each participant can add that agreed time to their own Perseno calendar. The event is stored separately in each participant's Perseno account. Perseno does not write to anyone's external Google, Apple, or Outlook calendar.

8Cookies and Similar Technologies

Perseno uses essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and provide the service. Perseno does not use advertising cookies.

9Third-Party Service Providers

Perseno uses the following categories of third-party providers:

  • Payment processing — Stripe
  • SMS delivery — Twilio
  • Authentication — Google (for Google sign-in)
  • AI and content processing — Third-party AI/LLM infrastructure used by Perseno's platform provider for screenshot, image, and text analysis and draft generation
  • Hosting and infrastructure — Base44 (database, hosting, authentication, file storage, and the AI gateway) and related platform providers

These providers process information as necessary to provide their services to Perseno. They are not permitted to use your information for their own unrelated marketing.

10Push Notifications

Perseno can send push notifications to devices where you have added Perseno to your Home Screen or installed it as a web app and granted notification permission. Push is optional and requires your explicit permission.

What we store — To deliver push, Perseno stores a device-specific push subscription (an endpoint URL and encryption keys) associated with your account. This subscription is treated as a sensitive credential. We store only what is required to deliver notifications and a minimal delivery history (last success/failure). Notification content is not retained long-term in push records; push payloads carry short, privacy-aware text and identifiers that the app resolves when you open it.

Lock-screen privacy — If you enable "Limited" notification privacy, push notifications use generic copy (for example, "You have something worth checking") so sensitive details are not shown on your lock screen. "Full" privacy shows more detail.

Third-party infrastructure — Push delivery relies on browser and operating-system push services (such as Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging) operated by third parties. These providers may process the minimal information necessary to deliver notifications to your device. Perseno does not control those providers' retention or use.

Your choices — You can turn push on or off anytime in Settings, and you can revoke notification permission in your device or browser settings. Turning push off deactivates your device subscriptions. Deleting your account removes all of your push subscriptions.

Limitations — Push delivery is not guaranteed. On some platforms, proactive notifications while Perseno is fully closed may be limited. Perseno also provides in-app reminders and email as additional channels.

11Data Security

Perseno uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including per-account data isolation and platform-level authentication. No system can be guaranteed fully secure.

12Data Retention

Perseno retains your information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and fulfill legitimate business purposes. You can delete your data or your entire account at any time from within the app; when you do, Perseno removes your information from active storage. Some residual copies may persist in platform backups for a limited period before being overwritten. Perseno does not retain your personal data indefinitely after account deletion except where required by law.

13Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data through the Perseno app
  • Export your data from the Privacy & Data center
  • Delete your data through the Privacy & Data center or Settings
  • Adjust your notification preferences at any time
  • Opt out of SMS by replying STOP or adjusting Settings (available when SMS launches)

14Account Deletion

You can delete your data or your entire account from within the Perseno app — Settings → Account, or the Privacy & Data center. Deleting your data removes your uploads, sources, processing history, Radar items, memories, calendar copies, and other information Perseno has stored for you. Deleting your account also cancels any active paid subscription and removes your household membership. Some information may be retained as required by law or to resolve disputes.

15Children's Privacy

Perseno is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

16Connected AI Assistants

You may choose to connect compatible external AI assistants — such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients — to your Perseno account. Connecting is optional and requires your explicit authorization through Perseno’s consent page.

What the connection can access — When authorized, the assistant can search your Perseno memories, Radar, and calendar; save information to your memory, Radar, or calendar; check your availability and find open time windows; start a multi-person scheduling request (which creates a shareable link); and link related items. Access is limited to these capabilities and to your own data.

How it works — The assistant acts only on your behalf, using your authenticated Perseno identity. It cannot access another user’s account, another household member’s private information, or anything you are not authorized to see. Perseno remains the intelligence layer: it decides where saved information goes, checks for duplicates and calendar conflicts, and does not invent dates or events. Mentioning something in a conversation does not automatically save it — you must direct the assistant to save.

External providers — External AI assistants are separate services operated by third parties. Information you send to or receive from them, and any processing they perform, is subject to those providers’ own terms and privacy policies. Perseno does not control those providers and does not represent that they do not retain or train on data. AI-generated results can be inaccurate. You use AI-assisted features — including search, saving, availability, and scheduling — at your own risk.

Email and other services — Connecting an AI assistant does not give Perseno or the assistant access to your email (such as Gmail or Outlook) or any other external service. Each external service requires its own separate authorization.

Revocation — You can disconnect an AI assistant at any time from that assistant’s settings. Revocation stops future access but does not delete any of your Perseno records.

No professional advice — Perseno does not provide legal, medical, financial, emergency, or professional advice through this integration. You remain responsible for reviewing consequential decisions.

17Perseno World

Perseno World lets you give persistent digital identity and context to things that matter to you — your car, bicycle, home, grill, refrigerator, project, business, or almost any meaningful physical or digital entity.

World Profiles — When you create a World entity, Perseno builds a World Profile that may contain: identity (type, model, manufacturer), photos, documents, facts, state (condition, maintenance), history, relationships, knowledge, and permissions. World Profiles are private to you and are not visible to other users unless you explicitly share them.

Uploaded photos and documents — Photos and documents you add to a World Profile (interior refrigerator photos, owner's manuals, receipts) are stored privately in your account. No public URL is created; access follows your account permissions. You can delete any photo or document at any time.

AI research — When you identify a World entity, Perseno may research publicly available information about that specific entity — manufacturer documentation, specifications, market value, common issues, and maintenance intervals. This research is stored in the World Profile's knowledge layer so it can be reused without re-searching. Research includes source metadata (source type, retrieval date, confidence). Perseno does not fabricate sources or research that did not occur.

External sources — World research uses publicly available information from the internet, processed through Perseno's AI infrastructure. Perseno does not scrape sources in ways prohibited by their terms. Research summaries are concise; Perseno does not copy large portions of manuals, articles, or copyrighted content into World Profiles.

Conversations with World entities — When you ask a question about a World entity, the entity's full context (identity, state, history, knowledge) is used to answer. Conversations may use web search to find additional information. Your conversation messages are stored in the World Profile to maintain continuity.

Proactive anticipation — Perseno may analyze your World entities alongside your calendar and Radar to surface things that may be worth your attention. These anticipations respect your notification preferences, quiet hours, and timezone. Perseno only surfaces something when there is a meaningful reason it matters now.

World permissions — Each World entity has permission settings (who can read, who can modify, what can be shared, whether external actions are allowed). By default, World entities are private and external actions are off. Perseno never takes external actions without your explicit confirmation.

Offline access — Perseno caches your last-known World Profile information on your device so you can view it when offline. Actions taken offline are queued and synced when your connection returns. Perseno never claims live research or real-time updates occurred while offline if they did not.

18Product and Shopping Suggestions

When a World entity needs a part or product (e.g., a replacement battery for a car key), Perseno may help you find real, currently available products from legitimate retailers.

Real results only — Product suggestions are based on real web search results. Perseno does not fabricate product availability, prices, or compatibility. If no reliable results are found, Perseno says so.

No automatic purchases — Perseno never purchases anything on your behalf. Opening a product link takes you to the retailer's website; the purchase happens on the retailer's site, not through Perseno.

Compatibility — Perseno may note that a product "appears to match" or "is listed as compatible with" your entity based on available documentation. Perseno does not guarantee any product is compatible with your specific entity. Always verify compatibility before purchasing.

Commercial disclosure — Some product links may be affiliate links, meaning Perseno may earn a commission if you purchase through them. Perseno discloses this relationship. Affiliate status does not affect which products are shown; results are based on what is genuinely available and relevant.

External websites — Product links open external retailer websites governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and pricing. Perseno is not responsible for the retailer's site, pricing accuracy, or fulfillment.

19Changes to This Policy

Perseno may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
